United We Brunch

Brunch has become a weekend ritual for my husband and I.    I personally start thinking about where to brunch sometime on Thursday in anticipation for the weekend.  There is something about the mix of sweet breakfast goodness and savory lunch flavors that I love.  Oh and let’s not forget the drinks.  The line “it is 5 0’clock” somewhere goes out the window with brunch.

Yesterday I went to the ultimate brunch event -United We Brunch.  There were brunch samples from great local restaurants like Max’s, Southerleigh, Magnolia, NOLA, and so many more.  And of course it isn’t brunch without drinks  -Bloody Mary’s (with a full build your own bloody Mary bar), mimosas, beer, and cocktails.

The best part is that the event benefits the Briscoe Western Art Museum. Can’t wait for next year.
